Brian E. Cobb

Brian E. Cobb

Brian E. Cobb is the president and principal shareholder of CobbCorp. Mr. Cobb has more than 35 years of experience in the broadcast industry as an owner, manager, and broker, and was a principal and founder of Media Venture Partners before founding CobbCorp. Over the last 25 years, he has brokered more than $5 billion in radio and television properties, and has been involved in the brokerage of more television stations than any other individual in the industry. Previously, Mr. Cobb served as executive vice president of General Electric Broadcasting Company. He was the most-often promoted manager during his 13-year term with General Electric Broadcasting.

Mr. Cobb has also served on panels for many trade organizations, including the National Association of Broadcasters and National Association of Television Program Executives, as well as being a past president of the National Association of Media Brokers.

Additionally, Mr. Cobb is a trustee for Florida Gulf Coast University, America’s fastest-growing educational institution. He is also a founder of the Naples Children and Education Foundation, which has raised over $80 million for local children’s charities during its first 10 years. In 2002, Gulfshore Life Magazine named him “Man of The Year.” For his civic endeavors, Mr. Cobb was named “Philanthropist of the Year” on National Philanthropy Day in Southwest Florida in 2004. Mr. Cobb is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an honorary business fraternity, and was a Jaycees Outstanding Young Man of The Year.

Denis LeClair

Denis LeClair

Denis LeClair is Vice President of CobbCorp and specializes in television and radio mergers and acquisitions. He has advised clients on a wide range of strategic engagements with an aggregate value in excess of $500 million. Mr. LeClair has advised many of the large and sophisticated media clients and worked with leading financial sponsors. His expertise is rooted in a first-hand understanding of the broadcast television and radio segments and strong personal relationships with industry leaders.

With more than 22 years in the broadcast industry, Mr. LeClair has been active in every aspect of the business. As a station general manager in 2001, he was instrumental in bringing about the country’s first television “Shared Services Agreement,” and acted as its first VP/General Manager. This successfully combined the operations of three television stations under one umbrella but with separate ownership.

In his role as Vice President of CobbCorp, Mr. LeClair was given the task of running the day-to-day operations of the Shop-at Home television station group, the 13th largest group in the country. Mr. LeClair was able to trim personnel and expenses, improving the company’s bottom line during the selling process.  He also managed the group’s transition to full-power digital. He was intimately involved in the marketing of the group to investors, which lead to its eventual sale to E.W. Scripps for $235 million.

Daniel B. Graves

Daniel B. Graves

Daniel B. Graves is managing director of CobbCorp, LLC. He has been an investment banker to media and communications companies for 20 years, involved in more than $40 billion of transactions for more than 40 different clients. Mr. Graves has represented the interests of clients across the spectrum of family-run companies to large-cap, multi-national organizations. He was the founder and managing member of Spinnaker Capital Advisors, LLC (“SCA”).

Before founding SCA, Mr. Graves was a Managing Director in Deutsche Bank’s Media Investment Banking Group from 1999 to 2004. During his tenure, Mr. Graves specialized in the cable, TV, radio and newspapers industries. During his five years, he completed transactions for his clients in each major investment banking category, including equity and debt offerings and buy-side /sell-side M&A.

Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Graves was brought in by Merrill Lynch & Co.’s Media Group in 1994 to renew their efforts in the broadcasting industry. As a vice president and director, Mr. Graves built Merrill Lynch’s broadcasting industry practice into a top-tier competitor, finishing first in equity, debt, and M&A transaction market share during his five years at the company.

Mr. Graves started his media investment banking career as a summer associate at Salomon Brothers Inc in 1989. As an associate and vice president at Salomon, he worked on a variety of assignments for cellular, cable, TV, radio and newspaper companies until he left the firm in 1994.

Mr. Graves is a 1984 graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Finance and Management Science and Statistics. After three years with Arthur Andersen & Co., he completed his graduate studies at the University of Chicago in 1990 with a Master of Business Administration degree majoring in Finance with a minor in Accounting.

Jeanette Kuszlyk

Jeanette Kuszlyk

Jeanette Kuszlyk has been active in the media industry for more than 16 years and currently serves as Controller and Treasurer of CobbCorp, LLC., Vice President of CKC Property Holdings, LLC., and Controller of CLG Partners, LLC. While accounting is her primary background, she also handles real estate acquisitions on behalf of CKC Properties and manages the day-to-day financial operations of CobbCorp, CLG Partners and all of CKC Property Holdings.

Prior to CobbCorp, Mrs. Kuszlyk served as Business Manager of Renda Broadcasting from 1994 to October 1999. She worked in a variety of positions including, traffic, on air, programming and sales.

Mrs. Kuszlyk attended the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management. She is also a certified General Contractor in the State of Florida and a licensed Florida Realtor with Florida Home Realty.

In her spare time, Mrs. Kuszlyk is an avid horse owner and participates in many equestrian activities. She has competed across the nation and has won several National Championships with her Stepping Up Stables horses. Ms. Kuszlyk is a strong supporter of a local youth horse club, Happy Trails Horse Club Inc.  Mrs. Kuszlyk has also coach for the local horse judging, horse bowl and horse hippology teams in Collier County.
